Woman Psychiatrist Will Be Associated With Clinic - The Beaver clinic of Redlands jesterday announced the association of Dr. Dorothy Harpham, ho will specialize in the practice of psychiatry. '. Dr. Harpham, who graduated from Redlands High school in 1916, took her pre-medical training at the University of California and later received her medical degree from the University of Colorado medical school. She interned at the Santa Barbara Cottage hospital in 1930 and then had two years- of medical "residency at the San Bernardino County hospital. Between these kwo appointments she was en gaged in post-graduate work in Vienna. After completing her resi dency she was on the staff of the Boston Psychiatric hospital and later was associated with the tni versity of California at Berkeley, 'student health service, in a general medical and psychiatric capacity. In 1936 Dr. Harpham was ap pointed senior psychiatrist at Bell-vue Psychiatric hospital in New York City and continued in that capacity until 1930. In connection with her work at Bellvue she was also an. instructor in psychiatry at New York university medical school and was consulting psychiatrist for the teachers retire ment service medical board. Dr. Harpham is a diplomat of the American board of neuropsy chiatry and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the American Psy chiatric association and the New York Society for Clinical Psychi atry.
