YACA NINE TO OPEN SEASON IN. WOODLAND Woodland and Vacaville will open the Northern California Baseball League here April 7, it was agreed at a meeting of - directors 'at Davis Wednesday night. Dixon will open at Arbuckle and Davis at Winters. Practice will begin in Woodland next Sunday and' it is hoped that a pre - season game can be arranged for March 31 to give the players a little competition before they commence league work. Van Sant remained as sec - The delegates 'decided to put off the schedule until a later meeting. Babe Patterson and John Craig have commenced gathering subscriptions.
