Il seems that with some other companions, they were driving a cow over some vacant grounds In the vicinity, when Jerome took offence and inflicted a severe and daa - feroas wound under Abraham's ear, causing a profuse flow of blood. Tbe wonnded lad was conveyed home, and medical attendance procured ; and we believe, though ap prehensions were fell fur his safety, be Is out of danger.
