Byrne Sr., 77, of Toluca, formerly of Saunemin, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harris-Martin-Bui Harris-Martin-Bui Harris-Martin-Bui Harris-Martin-Bui Harris-Martin-Bui ke Funeral Home, Pontiac, the Rev. Allan Byrne officiating. Burial Burial will be in Sunnyslope Cemetery, Cemetery, Saunemin. Visitation will be i'riM.10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the fuTTeral home. He died at 8:15 a.m. Friday (Oct. 23, 1999) at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Cancer Treatment Center, Streator. Mr. Byrne was born May 17, 1922, in Pontiac, a son of Ira C. and VeraR. Rittenhouse Byrne. He married Josephine Ethel Akers. He later married Rose Doll Uuiphress on July 14, 1979, at Strcatpr. She died Oct. 3, 1998. He had farmed until 1961 in the Saunemin and Griswold area, and from 1961 to 1974 he worked at American Screen in Chatsworth. Ho was employed at Interlake Steel Co. in Pontiac from 1974 to 1988. Runyon Diamond, 43, of Ramsey, N.J., fomerly of Fairbury, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 21, 1999) at Valley View Hospital, Ridgewood, N,J., following a brief illness. ,H,er funeral was Friday at Congregational Congregational Sons of Israel Synagogue, Synagogue, Suffern, N.Y. Burial was in Beth El Cemetery, Paramus, N.J. Mrs. Diamond was born Sept. 11, 1956, in Fairbury, a daughter of Dulbert "Sam" and Phyllis Thompson Runyon. She married Ira Diamond on Sept. 7, 1980, in Fort Wayne, Jnd. He survives. Also surviving are her parents in Fairbury; two sons, Matthew and Aaron Diamond, at home; one sister, Gail (Rick) Norman, Hudson; Hudson; and two brothers, Mark (Julie) Runyon, Fairbury; and Scott (Suzanne) Runyon, Pontiac. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Mrs. Diamond was a 1974 graduate graduate of Fairbury-Cropsey Fairbury-Cropsey Fairbury-Cropsey High School and a graduate of Parkland Community College, Champaign. She was a systems analyst for Simon Simon & Schuster Publishers in New York and a member of Congregational Congregational Sons of Israel Synagogue, Suffern. Charles 0. Drew LINCOLN - Charles O. Drew, 89, of Lincoln, formerly of Atlanta, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday (Oct. 22, 1999) at his residence. His graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Atlanta Cemetery. Cemetery. The Rev.
