waru-luaa north-wet t Dr. Thomas D. Gordon GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Nov. 21 (A. P.) Dr. Thomas D. Gordon, Gordon, former president of the Kent County Medical Society, and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, died at his home Fri day night after a long illness. He was 56 years old Shortly after the United States entered the World War, Dr. Gordon Gordon helped organize American Red Cross Ambulance Co. No. 15 at Grand Rapids at the same time that Ambulance Co. No. 8 was organized in Detroit. Both companies later were sent to Camp Custer and stationed In adjoining barracks. Dr. Gordon's company, which he headed as a captain, later was changed to 339. He took his organization to France in July, 1918. Dr. Gordon Is survived by his widow; his father, the Rev. Robert Robert Gordon, of Moline, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Legrand Wheaton, o( Addison: Mrs. E. D. Wilson, of Jackson, and Mrs. H. J. Bisbee, of Grand Rapids; three brothers, the Rev. John Gordon, of Rockford, II!.; Dr. Glen Gordon, of Plymouth, Mich., and Sheldon Gordon, oi Jackson.
