IRENE COLLIER, WASHINGTON, IS MARRIED Miss Irene Catherine Collier, daughter of Mrs. Catherine Collier, formerly of this city, was married yesterday yesterday morning to Pierson P. Brown, of Reading, at a Nuptial Mass In St. Gabriel's Church at Washington, D. C. They were attended by Mary H. Collier, a sister of the bride and Bert Brown of Reading, a brother of the bridegroom. Rev. Father John B. McNamara was celebrant of tho Mass,, and Rev. John F. Stanton, of Harris-burg, Harris-burg, Harris-burg, a son of Mrs. J. E. Stanton, 129 south Chestnut street, this city, was present in the sanctuary. A wedding breakfast was served after the cere mony at the home of the bride, and the newly married couple left for an extended honeymoon to New York. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Catherine Collier, who formerly lived . on south Hickory street In this city. She was one of the most . popular young ladles of our city, and her many friends in this community extend their best wishes; She Is a graduate of the School of Our Lady, of this city: and of Temple College in Washington. The bridegroom is a native of Read ing, and was a 'student In the Uuiver-sity Uuiver-sity Uuiver-sity of Pennsylvania at the time of the outbreak of iue World War, w'ucii he enlisted and served eighteen months in the I United States Army. After being discharged from service, he registered at . Georgetown Law School, Washington and graduated in the class of 1922. He Is now an attorney attorney in the federal service. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Leo T. Collier, a classmate classmate of the bridegroom's in Law School. Among the guests' for the weding was Miss Gertrude Convillg of this city. i
