Gardner Is president, has acquired a 10-year lease of the two-story and basement building recently erected on the north side of Locust street, at Its Intersection with Lindell boulevard. This building Is situated at what is regarded as the most conspiouous point In the city for the automobile Industry, being at the dividing point of the automobile traffio of St. Louis. It is of stucco throughout and of the Spanish type of architecture, with artistic towers at Intervals of every few feet. In which will be installed large arc lights. The building was designed by Preston J. Bradshaw, architect. Tho Mercantile Trust Co. represented both the Plckel Realty Co., owners of the building, and the Chevrolet Motor Co. In the transaction. The Hudson-Phillips Motor Car Co. recently obtained control of the entire half block opposite the building leased by the Chevrolet company.
