Sad Death of a Young Wife. Mrs. Grace McDougall, the bebved wife of J Archibald McDougall, passed to her fit al rest last Saturday at the family home on Mo .tgomery street .Mrs. McDougall had been sick but a week. Her chief ailment, accord ing to the physicians, was congestion of the spine. Mrs. McDougall was in the 27 th year of her age. She wss the eldest daughter of Lewis and Charlotte Gordon, with whom she and her buband made their home, she waa born in Ehs'.od, and came to West Pittston ith ber parents in 1877. Since Oat time she has been a resident of our town, and by her kind, generous and loving disposition made friends with nil who became acquainted with ber. She attended the West P ttston High School, graduated therefrom during ProL Berlin's priocipalship, and for a number of years afterward waa engaged as saleslady in A. B. Brown's store. About one year and six months ago she waa united in marriage to Mr. McDougall. Their married life, wbich has been made, so brief by tbe cruel hand of death, was a most happy and prosperous one, and the young husband who is thus made wifeless, is grief - stricken over the sad event The aged parents, too, are bowed down with grief, and many hundreds of friends all through the town are mourning over her sad death. The family has the sincere and heartfelt sympathy of all in their great bereavement.
