DEATHS-FUNERALS SAMUEL O. W ALTERS, 72. last original member of Friendship Fire company and well known resident of ROYERSFORD. died yesterday morning at 11:15 o'clock in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edith Randall, 510 Washington street. Mr Walters was bedfast ten days. He had been in HI health the past year or more. Death was attributed to complications. Mr. Walters was the last surviving organizer of the downtown Are company, company, which he had served a# president, president, foreman and chief engineer a number of years ago. A resident of Royersford and vicinity practically all of his life he was born in Upper Providence township, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Walters. He was a Stove molder by trade and worked 33 years at Floyd-Wells company until several years ago. Mr. Walters was a charter member member of the Royersford Nest of Owls which was merged with Pottstown some years ago. He and Mrs. Wallers Wallers observed their 50th wedding anniversary anniversary the past August 28. Surviving him are his wife. Ada (Stafford); his daughter, Mrs. Randall; Randall; one son, Newton Walters Royersford; six grandchildren; three brothers, Allen Walters, Philadelphia; Philadelphia; John W. Walters, Pottstown, and Harry B. Walters, Nile«, Ohio and two sisters, Olivia Vann, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Emma Godshall Royersford. The grandchildren are Billy and Joanne Randall. Lloyd Marion. Jean and Robert Walters. Funeral services will be conducted in a funeral home a^ 600 Washington Washington street Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be made in Fernwood cemetery. K.
