Robert Lee Butler obituary
DEATH OF R. L. BUTLER. Robert Lee Butler died at his ionic, 411 Adams street, in this city at three o'clock Wednesday afternoon, July 25. He was born in the eastern part of Missouri in 1865 and lias lived in the state all his life. He was' 52 years and 28 days old. Mr. Butler has been in the employ of the Neosho Milling Company for 13 years. He was a man of good standing and was faithful to his work. He was married to Miss Emma Edwards on February 10, 1892, who with seven children survive him. Mr. Butler was a good religious man and bade his family and friends good bye. The wife and. six children were present at the bedside when God called him home. One daughter, who is in Idaho, was unable to come. The following children were here: Mrs. W. H. Longacre of Joplin, Mrs. W. M. Land, Price, Earl, Troy and Jack Butler all of Neosho. In losing Mr. Butler we are losing a good citizen and one who loved his home and family. The funeral was held Thursday under'the auspices of the Modern Woodmen of which the deceased was a member.
