Inger-soll Sheeps-head 'Newspaper Bandits' Captured in Jersey Patcrson, N. J., Feb. 5 (Ducking (Ducking wildly-aimed wildly-aimed wildly-aimed bullets, two police officers shot and clubbed their way through the barrage today and captured captured two brothers who revealed themselves as the "newspaper bandits" bandits" charged with more than 50 holdups in northern New Jersey in the 18 months. Chief John Murphy said John Kern, 20, who had four bullet wounds in his abdomen and chest, and Henry Kern, 27, who was clubbed into submission, confessed to the series of stick-ups stick-ups stick-ups after they were takpn to a hospital. John Is not expected to live. Victims said the bandits shielded their fares with newspapers in one hand and held a gun in the other.
