Dupont Area Selectees To Leave For Camp February 17 20 at The largest single group of se lectees to leave the Greater Pitts- tort area since the adoption of the selective military service law will depart from Draft District 12, with headquarters in Dupont on February 17. They will be assigned to initial duties at fort Ueorge Meade, Md. The group includes a representative selection of young men from Pittston Township, Duryea, Dupont, Avoca and Hughestown. Among those departing will be a Duryea school director, Edward Joseph and a Dupont school teacher, William Wargo. Two brothers, Joseph and Gerard Conroy of 48 Bryden street, Pittston Township . will also leave with the group.
