IWU credit union drops interest rates Illinois Wesleyan University's Credit Union yesterday dropped its interest rates 6 percentage points to a 12 percent annual charge. Prior to that decision at the organization's organization's annual meeting, members members were charged 1.5 percent a month on unpaid loan balances. The decrease drops that monthly charge to 1 percent. The IWU credit union has assets of $144,405.
