-8 Riley Pitches 3-Hitter in Babe Ruth League Bill Riley turned in a three-hit pitching performance to lead the Orioles to a 6-4 Babe Ruth Baseball League victory over the Bluebirds. Meanwhile, the Red Legs Were beating the Senators, 13-6, in a Babe, Ruth make-up game on the Craig High diamond. The Braves took the Colts, 156, and the Cardinals won from the Cubs, 9-6, in yesterday's Little League action. Steinke had. three hits in as many trips to the plate to pace -Ithe Orioles, who rallied for three runs in the seventh inning to win. Riley also had three hits for the winners, as did Scalissi. A nine-run -seventh inning won for the Red Legs. Jerry Arneson and Mike Steinke each collected two hits to spark the Reds' attack. Mark Weaver's three hits highlighted the Cards' easy- victory. They moved to an early 9-3 lead. Three other members of the Cardinal :team had. two hits apiece to go along with Weaver's three. ,'The Braves won in the fourth inning.
