1952-12-6 Shower for Mary Alice Sause
Miss Mary Sause Feted at Shower Mr. George Olson of North Albany was the hostess for a bridal shower given to honor Miss Mary Alice Sause on Friday ovcnlng. The affair was a dessert-supper. Miss Same Is to be married on December S7 at the First Presbyterian church to David Bussard, who Is the son of the Russell Bus-sards of Albany. Prizes were won by the following guests: Mrs. Henry Sause, Mrs. P. L. Scott, Mrs. Adam Lapuson, Mrs. John Anderson, Mrs. Thurston Turner and Miss Sause. A tape recording was made of the explanation and expressions of gratitude made by the bride-elect as she opened her many gifts. It was later played back. Those assisting Mrs. Olson were Mrs. A. P. Hnwells, decorutlons; Mrs, Kcneth Graham, games; Mrs. Raymond Crltcs, refreshments; Mrs. Russell Parker, trays and tables and Mrs. Oscar Olson, invitations. All helped with serving. Thirty-two guests were present. They were the Moadamcs Kenneth Graham, Al Slcen, Preston Dickey, Raymond Crltos, Chris Whltakor, Carl Cunlcrt, Wesley Muller, Russell Parker, John Sutton, Joe Gab-bert, William Kurtz, Calvin Jones, Rcnnic Frits, Calton AniBbury, Lynn Smith, Don Jolley, Herman Luther, Oscar Olson, A.
