Tho first, on last Friday, John Cum-tilings had one of his hands slightly awed. The next day, Saturday, Jake I ib le had his right hand caught in the planing machine, and badly cut; tho wound will probably prevent his wuik-iug for some time. On Monday morning, at about eleven o'clock Salver Jack-won, caugl t his hand in the holt of the grindstone on the Hue shaft, sustaining a very serious injury, althuught no bones were broken, the hand was badly bruised, nnd but for the presence o( mind of Mr. Edward Derby, who threw the belt off, the accident might have resulted iu far .worso eonsecjucnees.
