POLICE HAVE ALL OF MAY'S EFFECTS New York Authorities Receive Letter From Missing Broker's Sec - retary of This City. NEW YORK. June 28. Assistant Manager A. C. Judd of the Astor house received a letter today from Miss Rose Donnelly of Scranton, Pa., the private private secretary to Louis P. May of that city who registered at the Astor house last Sunday and left the hotel that day, sending back a letter to the effect that he intended to commit suicide. suicide. Miss Donnelly says that she knows of no relatives of May in Scranton and that she cannot get at his private papers because his desk Is locked. She suggested that Mr. Judd communicate communicate with the E. E. Wilson Drug company, company, of Philadelphia, or with Mr. Berry of Grass Valley, Cala. The letter was turned over to the police of the Church 'street station, who have taken charge of Mr. May's effects.
