Helen McDonnell to Leo Hengler announcement
Leo A. Hengler. son' of Mrs. A. H. Hengler, of 212 Colfax avenue, was united yesterday morning at S o'clock in St. John's church, South Scranton, to Miss Helen McDonnell, daughter, of Mrs. Mary Donnelly, of Birch street. Rev. E. J. Melley, the pastor, officiated. and was the celebrant of the nuptial mass which followed. The bride mad a charming appear ance as she entered the church on the arm of her brother, Al Donnelly, who gave her away. They were met at t..e altar railing by the bridegroom and his. est man, Thomas Holmes, a cousin of the groom. The bride was attended bv her cousins, the Misses Luov and Mv Savannah, of Newark. X. J. The' bride was attired in a gown of white crene de chine. She wore a . veil trimmed with orange blossoms and carried a lower Douquec or roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaids wore Dink chiffon over pink satin and carried bouquets of Killarney roses. A reception and breakfast were held at the home of the bride's mother. Mr and Mrs. Hengler left for New Tork, from where they will take a trin bv water to Maine and other points of interest. interest. On their return .they w ill re side on Colfax avenae.
