Deloris Weds lune 26 At Oakland, California Friday evening, June 26, Dolores Bisby formerly of Moravia, became the bride of Raymond B. Gabbert of Oakland, Calif., at the Laurel Methodist church in Oakland. The double-ring ceremony was a candle-lighted service performed by their pastor, the Rev. Donald G. Smiley, in the presence of relatives and friends, before an altar decorated with bouquets of flowers. The processional and recessional were organ music by the church organist. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wote a balerina-length gown of white nylon net, a strand of pearls, a gift from the groom, arid a fingertip veil with a crown of pearls. She carried a white Bible centered with white flowers with white satin streamers. Her maid-of-honor, Joyce Hurston, a friend of the bride wore a pastel blue dress and carried a bouquet of pink flowers. The bride's mother was dressed in navy blue sheer dress with white accessories. Her corsage was pink roses. The groom's mother wore a gold-colored file suit and a bronze carnation corsage and matching accessories. Paul Gabbert, brother of the groom was best man. Ushers were friends of the groom and wore white boutonnieres. She was graduated from Fremont high school in Oakland The groom is a son of Mr. anc Mrs. Raymond Gabbert, Sr., o! Oakland. He attended Oakland high school and San Mateo Junior college where he received his Associate of Arts degree this month. He is employed at the Alameda Naval Air Station and is a member of the U. S. Naval Reserve. Following the wedding a reception was held in the church parlors.
