.Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Nund;, of 603 37th street,- Bradenton, Florida, were honored at a 50th wed ding anniversary open house on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9. The affair was given them by their children, Mr. and Mrs. N. F. Ward of Berkeley, Cal and Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Nundy o Westfield, and held in the Nundy home at 44 Union street. Over 100 friends and relative- called to wish the couple extendec happiness oh this occasion, anc Mrs. Nundy received her guests wearing a navy arid white dottec dress, with which she wore a cor sage of yellow roses, a gift from her niece, Mrs. Huldah Monroe of Toledo, 0. Mr. Nundy was pre sented with a yellow rose bout toniere from Mrs. Monroe. Assisting the hostesses were Miss Arietta Grinols, Mrs. Leon ard Trump, who cut the cake Miss Mrytle Grinols, Miss A. Lillian Meeder, and Mrs. George Brooker who presided at the punch bowl, and the honored guests grandchildren, Miss Alicia Ward of Berkeley, Calif., Miss Kay and Tom Nundy, who had charge of the Guest Book. The guests received many cards telegrams, flowers, gifts and gift of money. Mrs. Nundy was born Miss Ber tha Fowler in Willoughby, 0., De cember 18, 1871. Mr. Nundy wa: born in Westfield, March 29," 1872 The couple was married on Decem ber 30, 1903 in Owosso, Mich. They have two children, Mrs. Jane Nundy Ward of Berkeley, Calif L. F. Nundy 'of Westfield, six grandchildren.
