to Linton Center^ Happenings ) Linton happenings 847-9000 The end of November marked the close of the Linton Center s fiscal year with the record showing 498 men and 570 women visiting the center during the year. Forty-two of these were first time visitors. The Center plans to continue to operate with volunteers and Dorothy Padgett serving as full time hostess, along with a grant trom the area agency on aging and funds from Federal Revenue Sharing monies. There were 27 present for the covered dish dinner last Wednesday with several more dropping into enjoy seeing the slides and to hear Tom Luxton tell about his trip to Isreal. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Deal ot Bicknell were guests and it just happened that Mr. Deal had his cornet with him and joined with Fredia Tincher, piano, and Hubert Justus, guitar, so we had a most enjoyable sing a long and musical session. It was a very good day!! We will be missing Lydabelle Harrison when she moves back to Rockport, Rockport, and hope she will be back in the spring when the weather permits her husband to work on the gas lines
