James Warner Dies at 69 James S, Warner, 69. of 134 W. Oak St., a retired office manager for the former A. E. Dick Construction Construction Co., died unexpectedly at 5:40 p.m. on Saturday in his home. , Born in Freeland, he was a son of the late J. Garfield and Elizabeth Elizabeth (Boyle) Warner, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, and he served as a former deacon and elder of the congregation. congregation. He served as treasurer of the United Fund for many years. Prior to his retirement last year, he was manager and supervisor for the Greater Hazleton Area Joint Sewer Authority. Surviving are his wife, the former former Thelma Dietrich, two brothers, Wilson and John Warner, both of Detroit, Mich., and one sister, Mrs. Martha Obrien, of Lewishurg. The funeral will be held from the Rosenstock Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Donald Donald W. Ealy, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment Interment will be in Mount Laurel Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
