Columbus to be Pekny home after Colorado wedding trip Jane M. Prinz became the bride of John E. Pekny in a 1 p.m. ceremony Sept. 4 at St. Mary Catholic Church in West Point. Rev. Godfrey Meiergerd officiated in a v setting of twin bouquets of s; carnations. The homily was 3 delivered by Rev. James ;| brown. ' Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Tom Prinz of West Point and Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Pekny ofClarkson. The bride's gown of white Qiana featured an empire waist bodice accented with '. lace and pearls. The gathered · back fell into a chapel train. A \ Juliet cap caught her elbow' S length veil and she carried a [ cascade of red, white and blue .{ carnations and pearl-centered \ stephanotis. ·! The matron of honor, Mrs. 3 Peggy Luebbert of Omaha ; and bridesmaids, Mrs. Jane ;; Kuk, Norfolk; Miss Patty :,' Prinz, Omaha; and Miss 'i Mary Prinz, West Point, 'j sisters of the couple, were : ] attired in red and navy blue v' Jersey gowns. Their long i| sleeved boleros and scoop jj neck bodices were banded in S white. They carried tri- f colored nosegays centered $ with a red taper. ·j Flower girl was Bonnie | Prinz, sister of the bride. A Frank Pekny of Norofolk » served his brother as best man. Bill Prinz of West Point brother of the bride, Jon Dvorak and Jesse Kucera, both of Clarkson, were groomsmen. Ushers were Chuck Pekny, Clarkson; Joe and Jerry Prinz, West Point; and Keith Weinzetl, Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. James Lux and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Prokopec were host couples for the reception. Columbus will be the couple's home following a trip to Colorado. The bride at- tended the C.E. School of Commerce hi Omaha and is employed at Columbus Federal Savings and Loan. The groom, an accountant at David Duren and Associates, also attended the Omaha school. Extension Clubs Mary Frauendorfer was hostess to the Better I Club Tuesday night as Mildred Watson led the lesson "Shopping Sins." She en- couraged the women to shop wisely by comparing prices and analyzing ads. Officers elected for 1977 were: Bev Aim, president; Diane Fjell, vice president; . Glee Kracl, secretary- treasurer. Diane , Fjell received the door prize.
