The community, received a. great shock Sunday morning when they learned of the death of G. R. Krotzer, the blacksml'th, at his home here after a few hours' illness. Mr. Krotzer was taken 111 Saturday evening and passed awav Sunday morning about 9 o'clock. He leaves behind to mourn his loss his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Charles Brink, of Scranton; Mrs. Dan Oakcs and Mrs. Lana Aldrich, of Moscow; and his mother. Mrs. H. G. Simpson, of Moscow. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon. Interment was made In the Union cemetery. Mrs. Dorcey Lynch entertained her sister, Mrs. u. E. Becker, of Hopbot - torn, a few days last week. On Thursday afternoon. May 1, the Missionary society will have a meet ing in the church parlors and in the evening, from 6 to 8 o'clock, they will have a missionary tea, to which every body is cordially Invited. - The society has arranged a program.
