NORTH SHERMAN. May 15. F. L. Williams will deliver the Decoration address at Sherman at 2 o'clock p. m. , H. L. Law, Mrs. W. A.K iser and Jas. A. Patterson will have charge of the memorial and Decoration Day music. Mrs. Dennis Underside of Ponca City, Okla., is here visiting her sister, Mrs. C. D. Stewart, who is very ill. Mrs. W. T. Hunt returned to her home in Osborne the latter part of l&st week. Messrs. Wm. Funnell, Prof. Nichols, and W. Opfer of Clay made a brief call at Sherman Sunday school Sunday. Mary Wright, Velt Stewart and The-da Miller were appointed Sunday to confer with a committee from the Morganville Sunday school In regard to holding a township convention soon. John Edwards and wife are down from Stockton .guests at the C. D. Stewart home. Mrs. M. L. Lakin is quite sick. Ted Powell was up this way Mon day. The title to the Sherman cemetery grounds is now vested in the association which has controlled it for something like 23 years. A deed is being prepared which will convey to former purchasers of lots giving them a clear title which will be register's office at Clay Center. The deed will he in "blanket" form Including all previous purchases in one deed.
