IHepatck contradicts his statements, and say he was recendy in the town of Aiken under the assumed assumed nsjne of "de Rusty." The Captain had been carrying on a new flirtation with some Boston girls, to whem, when he left the town, he addressed a note, stating that he had been "summoned back to Franca, lo join his regiment," and wouid sffil from New-York New-York New-York by the first steamer. When last heard from, however, he was In Charleston.
