James Chandler Dies; Rites Slated James Omer Chandler, 94, of 1634 Citation Drive, died yesterday in Baptist Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Alexander's Funeral Home, Evansville, Ind. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Evansville. The body is at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home here. Chandler was a retired brakeman with the Louisville and Nashville Railroad, where he was employed for 50 years. He was a native of Slaughters, Ky., and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution in Henderson, Ky. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rachael C. Settle, Nashville, Mrs. Elizabeth Acker, Evansville; a son, James T. Chandler, Evansville; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
