Ehlers spent Sunday with F. M. Ehlers and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bowers moved into their new home Saturday. Misses Katie and Annie Burkhart were in Kinsley Saturday. A girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Nail Thursday morning. Leonard Brown now uses his motorcycle on the mail route. Earl Lightcap and wife are visit ing friends in Springfield, Mo. George Gilger made a trip to Gray county the first of the wek. Mr. and Mrs. John Boehme are visiting relatives in. Springfield, Mo. Mr. and Mrs. John Lund, of Kins ley, visited F. Hinds and family Sunday. Sunday. The postoff ice-inspector ice-inspector ice-inspector was here Monday and found everything all right. The Thimble Club will meet next with Mrs. Abner Offerle. All ladies are invited. The young people report a good time at the dance in the hall Friday Friday evening. Mr. and Mts. E. L. Hubble and Mrs. F. W. Hubble spent Saturday in Dodge City. Bert Ruggles and Mr. McPherson went to Syracuse to cast their bal lots this week. H. Brenneisen and Ed Reese went to Lakin Monday to make use of their right to vote. Alex Stegman and wife began housekeeping Wednesday In the Fred Stegman house. Why doesn't some one who is interested interested in the prosperity of our town build a few housse for rent? Charles Greenstreet and Chester Fergeson went to Larned Friday to attend the aeroplane exhibition. Mr. Bowers has gone to Haskell county on business . and Mrs. Bowers Bowers Is acting as substitute teacher. Mrs. White having improved in health, her mother returned to her home at Larned Thursday morning.
