THE RECORD-ARGUS fcoll Miss Stella BrcckMirldge Miss Zella Breckenrldge, Mercer, prominent county social service worker, died at 5:30 p. m. Saturday, Saturday, Nov/ 21, 1951, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on the Sharon-Mercer highway, just west of Charleston. Miss Breckenrldge was born in Jamestown, a daughter of Joseph C. and Elizabeth Kilgore Breck- enrldge, and was active in civic and welfare work both in her own community and throughout Mercer County. A retired school teacher, she had taught in Hawaii, slaying in the islands in the 1920s, and at Westinghouse Westinghouse High School in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, where she also was a social science consultant. Miss Brccken- ridge held a master's degree in Grlnnell Infant Prayer services for the infant son of LeRoy and Alice Brennan Grinnell, Hadley R. D., were held at 2 p. m. today, Monday, Nov. 26, 1951, at the Fisher funeral homo in Hadley with Rev. P. C. Heilbrun Heilbrun officiating. Interment was in Hadley Cemetery. The infant was stillborn at 10:50 a. m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 1951, at Meadville City Hospital. Surviving in addition to the parents parents arc eight brothers, Wayne, Ronnie, Gerald, David, Keith.
