New Eagle PTA Season Ends With Tureen Dinner The annual April tureen dinner climaxed the final meeting of the current term for the New Eagle Parent-Teachers Parent-Teachers Parent-Teachers Association, on Wednesday, April 16, at the Roosevelt School. The invocation was given by Mrs. James Lopresti. Fifty-six Fifty-six Fifty-six members and guests had a choice of a variety of tureens served ouitet styie. Dining tables were decorated with spring bouquets of daffodils daffodils for center pieces with mint cups placed at each place setting. Speaker Mrs. Paul Surace, president, introduced Thomas O'Rourke, superintendent of Mingo Creek welcome to student teachers at the School. The minutes of the previous March meeting were read and the financial report was given by the treasurer, Mrs. Albert Rotta. Roll count was taken and the banner was awarded to Mrs. Rotta's first grade. A class-room class-room class-room award was given this year to Mrs. Rotta's room for receiving the banner the most times for this term year. Mrs. John Amon, Mrs. Joseph Bonitati, and Mrs. James Taylor will serve as the auditing committee. They will give a report at the next meeting in October. Mrs. Surace welcomed everyone and extended a special Mrs. William Gibson, vice president, and Miss Nancy Chilzer, treasurer, were installed installed to their offices for the forthcomming year. Swearing in ceremonies were conducted by Mrs. Surace. Miss Nancy Chilzer was the winner of a centerpiece. In charge of the social period were mothers of the Second of Miss Chilzer'E and Mrs. James Taylor's rooms.
