The wife of Christopher HUrenberf died Terr suddenly last night, at 'her home: about five miles west of the citv, and a short distance north of the Bockfrille road. Mrs. Ililgenburg 1 has, been sick - for some ' time. . ' Last evening ber little daughter came ' running to a neighbor, saying ber mother was choking. . The neighbor' hastened to the heuse and found Mrs. - . Hilgehberg dead - and Mr. Hilgehberg' , himself quietly ; eating hia aupper; Later other neighbors came and proposed to sit up with the corpse while Hilgenberg went for a physician, but were told their attention attention was unnecessary, and they accordingly left. In riew of the fact that the relations between, the couple have not been pleasant lor .some time, and other circumstances attending the .death. the ! neighbors this - morn - ney sent a messenger to notify the coroner and TO request aa investigation. . The coroner this afternoon went out7 to Hi'genberg's to investigate the case. '
