Endfield Enterprise: Inuring ;t thunder storm one day last week, which struck a tree close by a window of the house of Mr. B. F. Cullom, Mrs. Cullom was struck and knocked sense less 'by the bolt. She was standing near a window when the' crash came. through which the lisrhtnins: darted. tearing away the sash, and then en 1 tered the toe of her shoe, ripping it open, and then passed up to her knee, leaving a dark streak where the flesh had been burned, strange to say. however, Mrs. Cullom was not other wise injured. Mr. Cullom, who was in another portion of the house, was also severely shocked, 1 rendering him momentarily speechless. Considering the extreme age of Mrs. Cullom, who is passed 70 years, it is almost a marvel that she was not instantly killed by the terrible shock.
