T Takes Hoosiers for Deciding Game jn Tri County Sunday Afternoon Baseball League COUNTY--TEAMS GO WELL Hagerstown won the pennant in the Tri county Sunday afternoon baseball league by defeating the Newcastle Hoosiers in the last and deciding game of the season, by the score of 4 to 0. The Hoosiers finished second, and Raleigh third. Llewellyn was 011 the mound for Hagerstown, and Smith was the losing pitcher. All four runs were scored in the fourth inning. Carthage, with Delashmit in the box won from Raleigh 3 to 1 at Carthage. Carthage. The visitors scored their run in the eighth. With the bases full and slugger Hickman at hat, a runner crossed the plate after Carthage's center fielder caught the long fly sent by Hickman. Raleigh caught two Carthage runners at the plate. Westwood, with Hahn pitching, defeated the Rose City Red Sox 8 to 3 at Chrysler Park in Newcastle. All games closed a successful season, and next year an eight team league will be in the field.
