Cincinnatians In Austria With Mark Clark's Army Three Cincinnatians were among the first Americans to enter Vienna as members of Gen. Mark W. Clark's forces In Austria. They were Capt. Gerard A. Dewald. 3081 Veazey Ave.; 1st Lt. Gregory J. Sandker, 7045 Beechmont St., and 1st Lt. Martin M. Rosen, 924 Lexington Lexington Ave. Captain Dewald, execuMe transportation transportation officer in Headquarters USFA, as the occupation forces are known, served with the 45th Infantry Infantry Division from June, 1943, to the end of the Italian campaign. He wears the Combat Infantryman's Badge, an Invasion Arrowhead and five battie stars on his theater rib bon. Lieutenant Sandker, serving in the Information and Education Section, has been overseas since July, 1944. Lieutenant Rosen, assigned assigned to the Financial Section, has been overseas since April, 1945. The USFA will function under General Clark as an army of occupation occupation in the American Section of Austria, exercising military control control over government agencies dur ing the rehabilitation period,
