Club News The members of the Women's Christian Temperance Union cele- Ibrated their annual flower mission i day with a special service yester- day afternoon at the Civic Center club. Mrs. J. W. Malloy presided, Mrs. B. B. Clarke, with Mrs. F. U. ! Russell, pianist, led, community singing. During a short business session Mrs. Anna White was elected delegate to the national W. C. T. U.j conference, June 12-17, in Tulsa, Okla. Mrs. Russell directed the program which included a review of the life of Jennie Cassidy, originator of flower mission day, by Miss Doris Montgomery, a member of the junior temperance group. Mrs. Paul Hutchinson and the Misses Mary Cart and Marlone Hall sang as a trio, "Love Is the Sunshine", and the Misses Cart and- Hall, accompanied by Mrs. Hutchinson, sang "Message of Gladness". Mrs. Hutchinson directed a flower drill, which was presented by Jeanette Cason, Janice Cason, Alaire Trent, Darlene Ricketts, Danetta Schroeder, Mary Ashton, Jean Crump, Betty Jean James, Peggy Jo Watkins and Loreen Martin. Reporting on the scientific temperance movement in the school, Mrs. George Martin, chairman, displayed the winning posters in the recent contest, "Temperance and Safety" conducted by the local union. * *
