Blair Harshbarger D. Blair Harshbarger, who resided resided with his sister, Mrs. Beulah Bailey in Mapleton Depot, Depot, died at 3:30 a.m., Friday, April 7, 1972, in the J. C. Blair Memorial Hosp.tal. He had been a patient in the hospital since March 1 and had been in failing health for several months. He was born in Mifflin County on Nov. 18, 1897, a son of Moses and Martha (Kauffman) Harshbarger. Harshbarger. He never married. He is survived by the following following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Carrie Acker, Tuckerton, N.J.: Mrs. Beulah Bailey, Mapleton Depot; Clark Harshbarger, Mapleton Mapleton Depot, R. D.; Clair Harshbarger, Harshbarger, Akron, Ohio and Lester Bailey, Hill Valley, Mount Union, R. D. One brother and six sisters preceded him in death. The deceased was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Mapleton Depot. For many years he was employed employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad, Railroad, retiring from the firm's Mount Union creosoting plant in 1960. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Clark funeral home in Mount Union. The Rev; Golden A. Gaither will officiate and interment will be made in the Mount Union I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friendswill be received at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m., Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the hour for the services on Monday.
