DUNGAN WILL BE CANDIDATE AGAIN District Attorney Duncan and J. E. Pemberton made a trip to Sacramento a few weeks ago to argue the Darr case which was in the Appellate court on appeal. Mr. Duncau has been notified that this tribunal has affirmed the judgment of conviction in the Superior Court. It will be remembered remembered that this . case was tried three times before a conviction could be secured. After having secured the conviction the District Attorney was naturally pleased to learn that the Appellate court had affirmed the conviction conviction secured in the lower- court. This makes thirty-eight felony cases that have been prosecuted by Mr. Duncan since he became District Attorney, Attorney, an average of one case a month to date. Out of this number there has been only two acquittals. Mr. Duncan feels that his record is sufficiently good to ask the people for another term in the office and has decided decided to become a candidate for reelection. reelection.
