Cleo Schofield Dies Suddenly Cleo William Schofield, 62, of Route 2, was dead on arrival at Community Hospital at 9-05 a.m. today. Mr. Schofield had gone (o work for the City of Moberly and returned home af ler becoming ill and was taken lo the hospital by ambulance. Born in Taney County, Missouri, on March 9, 1909, he was a son of James E. and Susan Abney Schofield and lived in the Moberly area most of his life. He was employed the pasl 18 years by the City of Moberly and was serving as street sweeper. He was a member of the Nazarene Church. Surviving are his wife, Katie Jane; eight children, Raymond Edgar Schofield, Topeka, Kan.; Mrs. Carol Jean Slires, Eldorado Springs; Mrs. Reva Jewell Janes, B u t l e r ; Mrs. Elizabeth Louise Gravitt, Moberly; Mrs. Alicia Paulette Johnson, Moberly; Mrs, Carol Suzanne Freels, Bradley Beach, N.J.; Charles Virgil Schofield, Curtis Wesley Schofield of the home; six step-children; William Noah and Edward Noah, Muscatine, Iowa; Donald Noah, Wapello, Iowa; Mrs. Marilyn Weise, Hayward, Calif.; Mrs. Ruth Sumpter, Henick; Marvin Noah, Moberly; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Price, South Gate, Mich., and Mrs, Ethel Earvi, Moberly; one brother, John Schofield, Lexington, Ky., and 34 grandchildren. The body is at the Cater Funeral Home, where funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday with Artie Whitworth in charge. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
