PURDON RITES FOR JIM TICKLE HELD FRIDAY AFTERNOON Funeral services for Jim Tickle, aged 63, of Purdon, who died at the P. and S. Hospital Wednesday night, were held from the First Baptist church at Purdon Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial was In Younger cemetery. ' The rites were conducted by Rev. R. V. Ivy. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frances Mayberry and Mrs. Katherine Katherine Hoppens, both of Houston; a brother Hugh Tickle, Purdon; four siators. Mrs. Ressle Howard, Corsicana; Corsicana; Mrs. Mattle Cook, Mart; Mrs. Ida Crawford, Corbet, and Mrs. Will Calute, Freeport, and other relatives. Pallbearers were Doc Bolln, Pete O'Daniel. Jack Hays, Ralph Valentine. Valentine. Rufus Griffin and I. T. Kent. Corlcy Funeral^ Home directed.
