Thomson Hocking, along with Robert Powers, who was sentenced to three months on the farm by Justice of the Peace A B Opperman on his plea of guilty, left for the farm yesterday morning in company with Sheriff Kenneth Woods. Declaring him to be a menace to he men wh* vant to take a drtnk. ; of 4r>0 Judge Thomson gave Hocking a lec- ture on his misdeeds before he pro- nounced the sentence. Hocking, the " judge dec-ared. had been drinking un- I licensed alcohol. Judge Thomson denied a motion by ¡the defendant s attorney, Oscar Zachary, Zachary, for probation.
