G. C. Carpenter Services Friday In Clute Church Garlin Clancy Carpenter, 34, a resident of Clute for the past 10 years, died in a local hospital at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday after a lingering lingering illness. Funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 13, at the First Baptist Baptist Church in Clute have been announced by the Freeport Funeral Funeral Home. The Rev. O, T. Besides his parents,'he is survived survived by his grandmother, Mrs. Lucy Carpenter of Thorton; six aunts, Mrs. Lee Robinson and Mrs. Findlay Williams of Clute, Mrs. Ray Herod of LaPorte, Mrs, Lona Marsh of Houston, Mrs. Frank Diver, Thornton, and Mrs. Ethel Asher, Mexia. Also, four uncles, Haskell Clancy, Clancy, Dallas; G. A. Clancy, Thornton; Thornton; Clyde and Earl Carpenter, Clute.
