Marian B. Allred Marian Barker Allred, 54, of 224 S. 400 E., Orem, died' Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1977 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City of cancer. Born Oct. 4, 1923 in Salt Lake City to Alma Sharp and Ruth Davis Barker, she married Alma Richard Allred on Sept. 6,1950 in the Manti LDS Temple. Mrs. Allred was graduated from Los Angeles City College with an associate degree as a legal stenographer. She was a member of the Civil Air Patrol during World War 11. An honorary life member of the California Parent-Teacher Association, Association, she hud been president of three PTAs in Upland, Calif., schools, and had been a Cub Scout den mother for six years She was in the Relief Society presidency of the Orem 48lh Ward. Survivors include her husband husband ; five daughters and three sons, Ruth Ann Allred, Mildred Louise Allred, James Richard Alired, David John Allred, Joseph Barker Allred, Melody Marie Allred, Beth Irene Allred and Alice GaifAllred, all of the home ; parents, of, Los Angeles, Calif. ; one brotiier and one sister, Wayne L. Barker, Hayward, Calif., and Cecilia "Margie" Barker Sorensen, Ful- lerlon, Calif Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Orem Stake Center. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. al Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary and Saturday at the slake center prior to services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
