FORMERPASTOR KILLED BY BULL Leinbach of Belmond Found Trampled With Animal Over Him. BELMOND -- Funeral, . arran ments are being made lor the S. U. Leinbach, 69, retired Congre- pastor, who was of a active Bur- Buring in gational church killed by a bull on his farm near here Sunday morning. Mr. Leinbach had gone out to the cows to pasture on the farm where he lives. When he did- not reurn, his wife began a search found a bull, which was known be safe, trampling on him. She called her son, Dr. Samuel P. Leinbach, and neighbors to drive the bull away. . The son had to fire several at the bull before it left the body. The victim had been dead 30 or minutes when found. An investigation investigation was made 1 by the coroner. Mr. Leinback, who was pastor the Congregational church several years, is survived by his wife, daughters, Elizabeth of Ann Arbor, Mich., Mrs. Beatrice McGowan of Ocheyedan, and . three sons, Fred of Fort Collins, Colo., Roger of Audubon and Dr. Samuel of Belmond.
