only week Chas Jemmie Fletcher, Ham- Lininger,' Wil 62 Mr. Levi Hains, of Tunnel Hill was taken greatly by surpnse on Monday this week. Mr. Ramsey, a bor insisted on Mr. Haines visiting the tunnel of the C. A. . C. They visited the 'tunnel and did return home uniil about dinner time when to the surprise of Mr. Haines, he found about So of his relatives friends waiting for him, it being yoth, birthday. Mr. hains won in the situation and at oace began make the people enjoy themselves. A good dinner was served to all present also a good many presents were among which was a chair his children; a cane made to A. H. Daugherty, was presented H. T. Wheeler, Wra. McKee, and James Haidman; silk handkerchie from J. H. Reed, and many other satisfied (hat the day had, been well spent and would long be'remembered A party . given to the young people in the evening, was spent social enjoyment, Thus ended a day to Mr. Hains and family.
