a Tourist Killed In Auto Collision Simon Freidman, 50, Los Angeles, was killed today in a two-car collision collision on Highway 80, east of Fabens. Fabens. Mr. and Mrs. Gartield Lino Wells of Los Angeles, were injured. State Highway Patrol Investigators Investigators Sergeant James A.'Mason and Patrolman E. W. Autrey said the accident occurred at 5:15 a. m. when Mr. Friedman, traveling west from Sierra Blanca to Los Angeles, apparently apparently fell asleep at the wheel of his 1952 Sludebaker at a curve. He was traveling on the wrong side of the road when the Wells' drove their 1949 Cadillac around the curve. The- cars met in headon. Mr. Friedman's body was removed removed from the wreckage with the aid of a blowtorch, and was brought to Et Paso by a Rodehaver-Miller ambulance.
