afternoon. A very enjoyable day was spent by all. A basket lunch was served. The sixty-first wedding anniversary anniversary of 'Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Brown, of Denton, was celebrated by a family gathering at the home of Mr. arid Mrs. Howard Anthony, at Harrington, on Sunday. Mr. Brown's entire family including three brothers brothers and one sister were present. They are: William H. Brown, Wilmington, and his twin, Jacob 0. Brown, Bridgeville; Bridgeville; S. P. Brown, Denton, and Mrs. Charles Wright, Federalsburg. The seven children of Mr. and Mrs. Brown who were present with their families are: Mrs. A. T. White, Bridgeville; Edward W. Brovrti, Atlantic City; Clarence "Brown, Bridgeton, N. J.; Gootee S. Brown, Greenwood, Del.; Ernest J. Brown, Denton; Mrs. Howard Howard Anthony, Harrington, and Wayford Wayford W. Brown, Wilmington. Eighteen of Mr. and Mrs. Brown's twenty-two grandchildren were present and six great-grandchildren. Many friends and family acquaintances attended Frances Moore, of Centreville, Md., and Mr. Winfield Timmons Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lawrence Wright, of Ridgely, is announced. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Thomas J. Turkington, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, at Denton, Denton, August 11. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Nagel and daughter, Sue Ann; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nagel left August 8th to visit visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nagel, of Kanorado, Kansas. It will be their first visit in four years. Mrs. Madeline C. Brown left Denton Denton on Wednesday for a trip to Starke, Florida, and a visit with her husband, Pvt. W. Reese Brown, who is stationed at Camp Blanding. She will return on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nichols and daughter, Patricia; Miss Agnes Andross Andross and Pvt. Fred C. Brown, all of The Shore's Best Food Prepared by Denton's Temple, Mrs. B. returned this Denver, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Rocky Mount, N. Mrs. Fonveille's Mr. Charles G. Dukes.
