EARLE, ON SEAS, FILLS 3 GAPS IN JUDICIARY Hundred* of Reappoint- menti, Unconfirmed by Senate Placed on7iieWhile Gover nor Leave* for, Vacation in France > HARRISBURG, Dec. 3. — (/P)— Governor Earle was on- the high seas today, headed for a three- weeks vacation in France after making hundreds of reappointments f slate boards and commissions »ose "members were unconfirmed . the Senate, and filling in three gaps in the judiciary. One of his last official acts before taking skip at New York last night was to telephone to Capitol aidss the appointment of three new judges for the Municipal Court of Philadelphia. Filling places vacant for a year and more, the Governor named former Deputy Attorney General Adrian Bonnelly, former family court Judge Felix Piekarski, and Edward Schmidhciser. Earle named three new members of the employment board of the Department of Public Assistance- Julia M. Kernan of Pittsburgh, Calvin J. Fricdberg.of Poltsville and former State Senator Walter Pytko d! Philadelphia. The Senate had refused to confirm the former members, Shippen Lewis of Philadelphia, Mrs. Susan Fause of Pittsburgh and Hugh Dolan of Pollsvilla. The Governor also filled out the 67 county boards of assistance. Other appointments included: State Art Commission—Dr, 'Warren Powers Laird, Philadelphia, succeeding the late Dr. R.
