1 impressive funeral services were yesterday conducted over th«* body of Mrs. Frank E. Valentine of Spring* field, ill., formerly Miss Hester Yockey Yockey of this city, at St. Patrick’s chu rch. Solemn High Mass was celebrated over the body at St. Patrick's church at 11 o’clock yesterday by Rev. Father Felthaus, assisted by Rev. Father Beauchene of Flat Rook, as deacon, and Rev. Father BUn of St. Anne’s church, as subdeacon. The sermon was deliever«*d by Rev. Father Barth in which he paid a high tribute to the life and character of the young wife who has so suddenly been call«*d call«*d to h«*r mafer. The funeral was attended by a great host of people and which with the great number oi beautiful floral offerings r«»celved at th«> horn«1 showed well the esteem In which sh«* had been held and the gn- eral sorrow caused by the death. A number of relatives arrived In the city from outside points to attend the funeral and last night Mrs. J. J. Con- n«*lly, of Marquette, god mother of Mrs. Valentine, who understood that the funeral was to be held today, arri\«‘«l in the city. She I h now a guest at the home of Rev. Father Barth.
