The case concerns , t h r ee Lamar County children declared dependent and neglected by a 62nd District Court jury here. Two autos were damaged in a Tuesday afternoon wreck at Clarksville and 1st SE. Involv e d were a 1953 Plymouth driven by Frank S. Caffee, 434 Fitzhugh Avenue, Avenue, and a 1953 Ford driven by James A. Hickman, Paris. Police estimated damage to the Plymouth at $175, to the Ford at $150. Personals Mrs. R. L. Rose, 373 - 17th NE, has returned after a week's visit in Brownsville and Houston. Hampy Hodges Is Outstanding Latin Student in PHS A certificate of merit was pre-1 sented to Hampy Hodges as the most outstanding Latin student at a picnic held by the Paris High School Latin Club Tuesday at the Boys Club. Members of the Hugo High School Latin Club were guests. Nan Jo Whitaker made the pres- entation, after Hampy was chosen for the honor by the Latin students of PHS. Larry Don Eaton gave the invocation invocation and Tommy Haynes, president president of the Paris club, served as emcee. The traditional fried chicken and homemade cake were served after after games were played. Justiss, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Coker. members of the (faculty and their families, Mrs. Grady Fry and Mrs. O. L. Cagle.
