American Fork High Band To Play in Rose Parade AMERICAN FORK - The American Fork High School Marching Band will be one of 21 bands participating in the 1972 Tournament of Roses Parade, according to word received by Principal Con Brady today. Mr. Brady announced the selection of the band by the Rose Parade Music cqmmittee. The band will be making a number of other appearances in the Southern California area in connection with the Jan. 1 parade, said Mr. Brady. McKay Names The participation of the band in the Tournament of Roses has been sought by a number of school and community representatives who have worked together to submit an application for the limited number of positions available, according to Mr. Brady with the project to require continued support and cooperation of community residents. Further details will be announced announced as they are received, with band director Charles R. Fadely scheduling rehearsals and summer practice schedules which will prepare the band for the coveted Tournament of Roses appearance.
